Speaking
Inspiring, educating, and opening conversations
I deliver engaging talks and workshops that bring together my lived experience as an elite ultra-marathon runner with my professional training as a counsellor and coach.
With a focus on eating disorders in sport, RED-S, neurodivergence, and communication, my sessions are designed to reduce stigma, open dialogue, and give audiences the tools to balance ambition with wellbeing.
Whether it’s lessons from the extremes of endurance sport, navigating mental health, or exploring the overlaps between body and mind, my words come from a place of lived experience and curiosity.
My sessions are particularly impactful in environments that value authenticity, mental health advocacy, and inclusive approaches to performance and wellbeing. I weave together lived experience as an ultra-endurance athlete, counsellor-in-training, and neurodivergent woman to create space for conversations that go beyond surface-level inspiration and into meaningful, lasting impact.

Motivational Talk - Finding Focus in a Noisy World
An honest and inspiring talk for pupils, parents, and staff. I share my journey from navigating high school as a neurodivergent teenager to attempting to run the 516-mile North Coast 500 and now preparing to relocate to France to pursue ultra-running professionally. It’s a story about resilience, identity, and learning to communicate with yourself and others - even when life feels overwhelming.
For Pupils - Understanding Yourself & Communicating Through High School
A relatable and interactive session helping pupils explore how emotions, overwhelm, and identity impact communication. We touch on neurodivergence and mental health, offering practical ways to express needs, manage stress, and navigate the ups and downs of teenage life.
For Parents & Teachers - Understanding and Communicating with Teenagers
A joint workshop for parents and educators focused on improving communication and connection with young people: at home and in school. We explore what’s happening beneath behaviour, how to stay curious rather than reactive, and how to create environments where teenagers feel heard, respected, and understood. This session also touches on neurodivergence, emotional regulation, and co-regulation, offering practical tools for calm, compassionate communication.

Writing
I write regularly about:
Ultra-endurance running; the training, the failures, the breakthroughs.
Living with AuDHD: the challenges, navigating a neurotypical world, late diagnosis, and the everyday reality.
Mental health and self-compassion: drawing on my counselling training and personal journey.
Building a multifaceted life: finding ways to blend passions rather than choose just one.
